Because of the current financial climate, people can expect better value for money in terms of quality and standards. This should apply for the facilities to stay overnight, be it a hotel, bed and breakfasts or pubs.
Unfortunately it seems that there is not much forward movement in the hotel sector, in reality there is no evidence that there is a seriousness in many hotels, empty lobby with gray and a cool professionalism that suits some people to be honest.
Some hotels have tried to reach others and use various types of customers, the bar feels more like a pub. They tried to achieve this by extending the range of drinks, put a pair of draft beer taps at the bar, and the installation of a pool table.
This is much better and certainly a positive step, but it is never the same bar as a pub feel, there’s always the hotel flu.

I never had a bad breakfast accommodation in the cafeteria, but have had enough at the hotel. Dried eggs, beans and sausage economic Flaccid is not my idea of better starting the day.
Compare that to the fact that many locals are proud of their offer of breakfast, and ensure that the best is offered.
